The Baton Rouge Chapter of IVAW is in full swing bringing in new members left and right, while re-engaging past members and getting them plugged in again. Right now we are at 8 strong. Which is double what we were 4 months ago. Still have a few members whos applications are still in limbo, but regardless we are doing great. We had 5 members present in DC at the WHite House protest on March 19th as well as at Quantico on March 20th in support of our brother and yours, Bradley Manning.  Out of that weekend we had 3 members arrested for standing for peace.  Following the actions in DC and Quantico, members held a vigil honoring our fallen. Members are in the process right now of preparing for multiple banner drops in our area to inform the public of our ongoing occupations.  Looking forward to the convention and all organizing in between. Peace brothers and sisters!
