Hear first hand from veterans of the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan about IVAW's plan to stand up for service members' right to heal and bring an end to the occupation of Afghanistan.

Thousands of service members from Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) are being deployed this year to Afghanistan with untreated injuries and trauma from previous deployments or their time in the military. In response, IVAW has launched Operation Recovery: A Campaign to Stand Up For Service Members' Right To Heal. Later this year IVAW organizers from around the Pacific Northwest will converge on JBLM to spark strategic resistance among service members fed up with more than ten years of war and occupation.

Click here to download an event flyer for printing and promotion!  More info about Operation Recovery at JBLM is here.  Planning to attend?  Please RSVP online so we can plan for how many people are attending!
