Going Back

I always thought I would have grey hair when I went back to Iraq. I thought wrong. Sometime soon I will return to deliver medical equipment and supplies. For me this is just a drop to what I owe the people of Iraq. I hope this the first of many trips back to aid the people. Eventually I want to return to all the places I placed my feet from the time I spent there as a Paratrooper.

I have been thinking about the time when I was waiting to deploy. The there are similiar feelings. We have a mission to accomplish. To make sure our brothers on our left and right get back safely. To prepare for sacrafice if needed. There is new feeling. Knowing deep in my heart that this is the right thing to do. This makes all the difference.

I joined because I believe us soldiers went to occupy a nation for the greed of corporations to profit over my life and the brothers I had lost lives.
