Regina Vasquez
My name is Regina Vasquez, I served 4 years in the United State Marine Corps and reached the rank of LCpl (E-3). My first two years in service I was raped and experienced sexual harassment. The remainder of my service I served under a great command who helped put the love of the Corps back into my heart. I suffer from PTSD due to MST and am coming out to help my fellow MST survivors regardless if they are still active duty or veterans. I am here to help. I have been interviewed by an Italian Journalist for the Italian ed. Of Vanity Fair and for the documentary by Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering "The Invisible War" about MST.
I am the founder of Fatigues Clothesline. Fatigues Clothesline is a program that helps both military men and woman as well as veterans through the healing process of art therapy. It can take years for a survivor to talk about but through the work of art it can help bridge a gap through communication between the survivor and their therapist, social worker, group counseling and most importantly family. Fatigues Clothesline not only helps the survivor but also helps the family of the survivor. Often times we forget that the family can also be affected. When dealing with military men and woman, I feel it's import to incorporate the family unite into their healing process. I would really like the opportunity for us to work together. Please feel free to contact me anytime at (512) 644-6128. Thank You for your time. My website is www.fatiguesclothesline.com
