Grew up in Westchester County, New York. Army reserve medical supply specialist 1991-1998 Air Force bioenvironmental engineering officer 2000-2002 Graduated from Syracuse University in 1998, with a BS in Environmental Engineering. After being gung-ho for deployment when 911 happened, having two airmen under my command, one of whom had already been to Afganistan and both of who would probably be deployed again, we were told toward the end of 2002 that "we got a war comming up with Iraq", that Iraq had "massive stockpiles of WMDs" that they "haven't accounted for", then it was "ties to 911". I thought this was strange and I had my suspicions, wondering why we hadn't heard about this before if it was true, but my suspicions were limited to the possible withholding of the information by the government until that time for politcal reasons. After I got out at the end of '02 I gradually started doing some background research on the subject. I felt compelled to get to the bottom of it as I felt partially responsible for the likely deployment to come of the airmen who were under my command at the time. Since then I've learned through my research that the case that the Bush administration made for war in both Iraq and Afghanistan was completely false, and that there is irrefutable evidence that 911, the pretext for both wars, was an inside job, planned and executed as a false flag operation to create a pretext for a long planned invasion and occupation of both countries for corporate war profiteering and control of resources; specifically, oil contracts in Iraq, the construction and control of a long planned, multi-billion dollar natural gas pipeline from Azerbijon through Afghanistan to Pakistani ports to control and profit from the huge reserve of natural gas discovered beneath the Caspian Sea region in the 1990's, and control of the over trillion dollars in lithium deposits discovered more recently in the ground in Afghanistan. These corporations who are bankrolling our politicians and thus controlling the US government are only seeing dollar signs and do not care how many American working class sons and daughters, or how many innocent Iraqi and Afghan civilians are killed for their war profiteering venture, and it will not end until we force it to end. That is why I joined IVAW, to help bring an end to these unjust, illegal wars. This is what true patriots do in a situation such as this.
