Timm Gorske
12 year US Air Force veteran. 8 years enlisted including aircraft maintenance, technical training instructor, and Security Forces. 4 years commissioned officer serving in Security Forces (training, operations, and antiterrorism). Deployment to Afghanistan in 2004. In 2006, I was involuntarily separated under Force Reduction.
I believe in the protection of individual and cultural rights. I believe in the defense against oppression and genocide. I do not believe that Americans must fight every war. Countries have the ability and responsibility to fight for their own freedom. Countries with regional or cultural interests have the responsibility to assist their neighbors when needed. As a nation, we are sending our young Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines to serve, fight, and die for causes that are not genuine nor would they be of interest to our national security if were not involved.
