Michael Allen

I decided to join IVAW because my voice alone cannot impact our nation's opinion about war. It will take a group such as this to ensure that military veterans can unite against such violence and unprovoked aggression. As a whole, we have the strength (especially as veterans) to alert the general public of the atrocities which are occurring every day until all our troops are brought home. Such injustices cannot be allowed to continue. Innocent Iraqi civilians should not be involved in this war, and yet America has FORCED them to fight against us. It is time to end this absurdity and ensure that the world recognizes that not all veterans believe in this war or the principles the United States has used to "justify" its continuance.
