Feeling Old

In two months I will have been a member of IVAW for Seven Years. A time of reflection is at the door step of my mind holding signsdemanding time with the scribe. The Occupy Movement is alive in my head. This writing here is to let reflection happen in the stillness of my continual thoughts.

Family in the truest sense. Not only do we share the suffering that comes from our collective involment with the military. We share in the suffering of fighting in the wars. We share once again in fighting the wars. Amazing how one little word can change the whole meaning of a sentence. Thats us there in a nutshell. We are not the majority. Granted the majority of the country does not want war. Its the Few that actually fight for peace. But even a little word can change the whole meaning of a sentence.

Pupose that has defined my life. Nothing has had me feel so sure and good about what we do. This defines my life, even as a student to get a Communication Degree. War ends war? A.healthy communication. If communication chills people out then communication is my new weapon and I will learn it well. My aim with my words will be more accurate than any snipers bullet. Just as in shooting, breathing is important. Everything in my life moves to the goal of peace.

I Love Ya'll. Till we are Old and Gray annoying the next generation with our music.

Going Back

I always thought I would have grey hair when I went back to Iraq. I thought wrong. Sometime soon I will return to deliver medical equipment and supplies. For me this is just a drop to what I owe the people of Iraq. I...
