Submit a Quote to Celebrate IVAW History

To submit a quote use the online form here.

As we reflect on 10 years of IVAW's work we need your help in telling the story.

Celebrate People’s History: Iraq Veterans Against the War (CPH: IVAW) – Ten Years of Fighting for Peace and Justice is a portfolio project designed to highlight the successful moments of Iraq Veterans Against the War’s ten year history. CPH: IVAW seeks original quotes reflecting on IVAW's history.

These quotes can be reflections on events, actions, people, the community, the movement, the arch of IVAW's history, or on lessons learned. It is really up to you.

We encourage that the framing is positive and uplifting--but that does not mean we do not want critical analysis of the organization's history and transformation over the years. We are hoping to get a diverse array of perspectives. This will be a important historical document so please consider what someone twenty to fifty years from now might be interested in.

To submit a quote use the online form here.

Quote Specifics:
- Deadline October 6, 2014
- To submit a quote use the online form here.
- All quotes are subject to editing by the CPH: IVAW editorial team

If you are interested in submitting a long essay (500 - 1500 words) please contact Kevin Basl <Kevin.basl@gmail.com> ASAP. Essays are due October 6, 2014. For more information please see the project overview and details below.
