Washington State

IVAW WA State chapter leaders at the 2012 Operation Recovery meeting
IVAW Washington State is a newly created chapter after the Seattle and Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) chapters merged in March of 2012.  We are over one hundred veterans primarily in the Puget Sound area, and are working towards a launch of Operation Recovery at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in the summer of 2012.  We also work very closely with Coffee Strong, the pro-soldier, anti-war GI coffeehouse and resource center within walking distance of the Madigan gate at JBLM.

Operation Recovery is a national IVAW campaign to stand up for service members’ right to heal, end the practice of deploying injured service member, and in the process help bring an end to the occupation of Afghanistan.  If you are a post 9/11 veteran or service member who's interested in getting involved in our work, please contact us using the email or phone number on the right side of this page.
