Report back from the U.S. Social Forum

Twenty-three members of Iraq Veterans Against the War joined thousands in Detroit at the U.S. Social Forum last week.

We offered 3 workshops on GI and veterans' resistance to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and dialogued with other attendees about practical alternatives to militarism. We also recruited over 100 new supporters for our GI and Veterans Bill of Rights Campaign.

During the Social Forum, several IVAW members were interviewed about the GI and Veterans' resistance movement.
