Served in: I joined the Navy in April of 1998 and was stationed in Diego Garcia B.I.O.T. from April 1999-2000, Denver, CO 2000-2002, I had broken service and rejoined in December 2002 and was stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI from 2003-2006.
One of the most important lessons I learned from the military is that I saw the freedoms that others continue to take for granted and this empowered me to keep fighting to preserve them. It is not out of hatred for the military that I am a member, it is out of love- the love of our brothers and sisters who continue to sacrifice for this immoral and illegal occupation of a sovereign country.
