Combat Veterans Against Fireworks

From my experience of the past two Fourth of July's and New Years I would like to create a commitee of IVAW called Combat Veterans Against Fireworks. This creation sprung from my humor to battle a trigger of my PTSD.
People need to be aware of the effects of fireworks in setting off the undesired feelings of post trumatic stress known to all veterans. Before I joined the army I was confused why vets were flinching during a Fourth of July parade in a scene from the movie Fourth of July. Now I know very well from my time in Iraq.
Now we must confront our City Councils and local firework shops to spread our knowledge.
Maybe we can set up a wilderness retreat for IVAW during these frustrating times so we can gather our Brothers and Sisters far away so that we can know peace.
