I joined the National Guard in 2001 and have spent 38 months of a 6 years contract on active duty. Nobody tells you these thing when you sign up, along with a long list of other things, like the back door draft. I'm against the war in Iraq for a plethora of reasons. I still love my country even though we are in a bad spot right now. I plan to get into politics to help make a real change.
