Cameron White is a Minnesota native who completed two tours in Iraq. As a Marine, he served as a tank mechanic with the 1st Tank Battalion during the invasion of Iraq. On his second tour, he was a Humvee driver attached to the 1st Marine Division to transport troops from Kuwait to Fallujah. Disillusioned by what was so clearly an illegal war, he became actively involved in the Peace Movement while still on active duty, as part of a performance art piece called "The Fifth Commandment". Upon his discharge he joined the North Dakota Peace Coalition and testified in the North Dakota Senate and House of Representatives in support of North Dakota Senate Concurrent Resolution 4022, the Peace Resolution calling for an end to the war and a withdrawal of the troops. The bill passed and was adopted by the state. "I am an advocate for Peace in every way that I can be." Posts by Cameron S. WhiteCameron S.
