Jennifer Blain

Jennifer was born in New England and grew up in a very patriotic family. She enlisted in 2005 and served 4 years in the Army Reserve Military Police. In 2008, Jennifer applied for discharge as a Conscientious Objector after witnessing the birth of her son opened her eyes to the reality of her faith. Her involvement with Iraq Veterans Against the War began shortly thereafter. Jennifer has been a chapter member of IVAW Chapter 39 (Amherst MA) since 2008; chapter treasurer since 2009 and serves on the IVAW women's committee. She still lives in the New England area and enjoys demonstrating 19th century laundry and blacksmithing. Jennifer currently works as the Director of Development for Arise for Social Justice.
