Graham Clumpner

I joined IVAW because Obama isnt radical enough. We need serious social change in this country and our organization is doing it. These wars need to end yesterday. Revolutions start when the people that are closest and most dependent on the system turn against it. Who better to do this then the Veterans who understand the true way our society works? The thing that pushed me over the edge was when I was re-called to active duty on November 11 2008(veterans day!) and told to deploy to Iraq with a reserve unit for 444 days. I then resisted and went underground for the next 9 months until I received enough disability to be released from my orders. I know what it feels like to be afraid and I want to help others never feel the way I did. Racism, Patriarchy, Poverty and Militarism have to end. We will be the light at the tip of the candle.
