'On the Bridge' at 47th Chicago International Film Festival

Zadig Productions' recent documentary film, On the Bridge, features the stories of veterans and military families, including IVAW members Wendy Barranco, Vinny Emanuele, Lisa Zepeda, and Ryan Endicott. Director Olivier Morel writes,

"The film represents the disturbing aspects of the current war. These veterans show tremendous courage by unveiling dark truths and by publicly expressing the worst aspects of the War and all the damaging effects it had on their mental health.

The film's primary role is to break down stereotypes and stigmas related to PTSD and the representations, or rather misrepresentations, of Iraq War veterans through raising awareness about what being a veteran means today."

The film will be presented at the 47th Chicago International Film Festival on Saturday Oct. 8 at 1:15pm CST and Sunday October 16 at 6:30pm CST. See http://www.chicagofilmfestival.com/ for details.
