I joined the Army as a patriotic kid out of Highschool. I don't regret my military service, because it made me who I am today and because I met so many amazing people while service. I do, however, feel that members of the military are being used by the powers that be in ways that are not acceptable. The military was designed to protect the American way of life, but we have become storm troopers for commercial interested and international politics. Soldiers are serving YEARS away from their families for the purpose of lining someone's wallet and that is NOT okay.
