Aaron Yeargan

I'm a former U.S. Marine and Iraq War veteran. Currently, I'm a Health Care NCO/Medic in the U.S. Army Reserve. I am a libertarian minded voter that believes in a strong, but constitutionally defined, national defense and foreign policy. Therefore, I have never believed in the justification for the Iraq War. Concerning the the Afghan War, I believe those responsible for 9/11 should be brought to justice; however, what the current Afghan conflict has turned into seems far removed from that goal. I believe there should, at the very least, be a major refocusing concerning Afghanistan if not a full withdrawal. These are the reasons that I am joining IVAW.
